I don't blog

I am of the general assumption that blogging is self-indulgent, and the majority of people have nothing new to say.  That being said, I figured since everyone else is doing it, I might as well have one of my own.  Very mature, I know.  Do I have some amazing new secret that will keep you healthy, your children happy, and make your whites whiter?  Um, no.  But occasionally I may come across something that isn't a complete waste of time and is worth sharing.  Or I may feel the need to rant.  Or I may forget all about it in the next twenty minutes.  Or some such.  Anyway, I'm doing this for me, and we'll see how it goes.  There is no underlying theme, and there will likely be little, if any, focus.  I guess the main point is, I like using commas, and that's as good a reason as any to start a blog.  So there.
